After last week’s explosive episode, this week, A Hand to Take Hold of the Scene’ was a major letdown. I mean, majjjor letdown. I didn’t like it at all. I expected an epic fight between Mouth and Millie. Instead, they got drunk separately and she decided to leave town quietly. I have officially lost all respect for Mouth.
He worked his whole life to get a shot like the one he had in Omaha then gave up his career to be with Millie. He messed that up by contemplating sex with an ex and pushed Millie away. Ok, he’s not all bad. Granted, he was a saint for sleeping in the same bed as his virginal girlfriend but it’s not like she tricked him into it. The whole thing makes me think he was too afraid of leaving Tree Hill once he achieved his dream. His return had more to do with that than with love otherwise he would have never had his head turned by Gigi and he would have fought harder to keep Millie.
In what was barely a whisper, everyone found out Peyton is pregnant. There were no fireworks.
Just Brooke crying because her second (very tight) attempt at Peyton’s wedding dress was down the tubes. This is Peyton and Lucas’ baby people. It is a very big deal! They are the foundation of the whole show, the couple that everything revolves around. Accidentally letting Haley know or Sam letting it slip to Julian, well, I felt cheated that these weren’t bigger moments.

I agree. Mouth and Millie’s relationship was much stronger, I don’t believe they gave it all up now.
And Brooke’s reaction on Peyton being pregnant…. She only seemed to care about the weddingdress!
But after all, I liked this episode. They payed a lot of attention to all the relationships. And I loooooved the scene between Brooke and Julian. I really hope Julian isn’t just trying to make Peyton jalous, because that would really hurt Brooke, and I don’t think she can take it. She deserves a good guy now.
*can’t believe
I think you need to concentrate on your research more carefully, look at the opposing opinions and come to a balanced conclusion. That is what i believe would make a good journalist. Otherwise, not bad.
I sort of agree with you, but not completely. I was disappointed with Brooke’s reaction to Peyton’s pregnancy. I did like the whole “ice cream thing”- it was cute. I think Mouth is too sad to get into an epic fight, though I did expect it. It really bothered me how Julian walked into Brooke’s house on his cell phone (ugh, I don’t know why it bothered me so much!!!). Overall, the episode wasn’t so bad. I enjoyed watching it, but my favorite episode of the season remains #7 or #11, there both so cool.
Completely off-topic, but… I’m soooooooo excited for episode 15!!!!!!!
I did not really mind the whole Leyton baby not being a big deal to everyone ( as in all the fireworks) but now that you mention it you do have a point. It should have been a big celebration.
I did not like the fact that Lucas and Peyton acted as if this was their first experience with Jamie. They brought him and Q’s brother really childish toys. Isnt Lucas supposed to be his uncle and therefore he did babysit for him before! That part was totally unrealistic
And I really don’t see Chase with Mia. But thumbs up for Brooke and Julian, they really do fit together.
Naley as many have said are kinda boring. I think they should heat it up a bit. Their whole following your dream thing and being good parents is getting boring.
I do not really care for the Mouth plot line but I think by saying that you ”losing all respect for Mouth” is taking it a bit too far. why would you expect a fight? Millie apologised a bazillion times and technically Mouth and her were over and he didn’t delete that picture or fire Gigi or not lead her on.
And everyone should stop with the ”Julian is trying to make Peyton jealous”. He is totally over her.
I think to be a journalist you have to analyse the whole episode, you just commented on bits and pieces + no creative writing on your part or any wow incite.
My two cents in.
