Hey people! This is just totally depressing. I can’t wait for the finale, but I have a deep sense of gloom in the pit of my stomach. I can’t digest the fact that after all these years, we’re going to have to let Lucas Scott (one of my all-time favorite onscreen characters) and Peyton Sawyer (who’s never beena favorite…but I’d hate to see One Tree Hill go on without her) go.

I’m pretty damn sure that I, for one, am not going to be as loyal a watcher as I’ve been for so long. And as for the storyline, however they do decide to put it, weather they kill them off, or they send them away, can hardly appeal to the fans. Here, I speak for myself and I’m sure, taking into consideration the immense feedback we and other fan sites and blogs have been getting, millions of other bummed fans. I’d love to hear your thoughts below also.

I mean, come on, if they kill them off, I’d basically stop watching. And, what, they send them away with their baby to live happily ever after and Lucas  and Peyton just vanish from the lives of their friends? They never call, never visit?

I doubt it. You know what could be even worse? Peyton dies (we know the baby doesn’t. see promo) and Lucas leaves, never to come back. That would be the biggest frikkin buzz kill since Marissa in the OC. Another show I loved, grew up watching and had to say goodbye to bc of the ridiculousness of the producers.

I believe that this show has, not only for me, but countless others, been a source of inspiration and a guiding light in times when we felt nothing or no one understood us. I don’t know…maybe I’m in over my head, but this is how I feel. I feel like I know each of the characters personally, like they’re my own friends, and not fictional characters in afictional town. In fact, I’ve always related myself to Brooke.

Anyhow, this post isn’t a sob story by a pissed off teenager, it’s for you guys to know what’s happening.

Hilarie Burton and Chad have confirmed they’re not going to return and CW will be confirming it Thursday at Upfronts.

Like I said, this is not a rumor, and I have been posting a whole bunch about it before. I guess, it just feels more final now, right?

Just read the interview myself and she claims they didn’t get killed and when asked weather they might make a guest appearance again she said “never say never”. So I guess it means they just left Tree Hill. Doesn’t make it any easier.
