Hey you guys,

Well, I know this question has been adressed so many times, you’re postively rolling your eyes and going- “Where has SHE been?’

But in a recent interview,

One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn revealed that there’s little chance of a relationship between Lucas and Brooke in the show’s future.Fans have long debated whether Lucas ultimately belongs with Peyton or Brooke, and it looks like Schwahn has finally answered the question. He wants to explore the Leyton relationship from this point on, and though he’ll “never say never” about a Brucas reunion, the chances are slim.

WOOHOO! About time! Leyton totally sucks donkey balls. In fact, it sucks so much, it’d give a leech at a blood bank, a complex. I don’t hate Peyton as much anymore, but Brooke and Luke are MEANT to be together (remember the Destiny shot?).

And now, finally people are noticing. The only reason Brucas is not entirely possible is because of the whole Sophia Bush-/Chad Michael Murray -getting- divorced thing.

But we’re hoping.

The reason we LOVE Leyton is because they are so romantic! Peyton is stupid with anyone else apart from Lucas. When she was with Julian, I didn’t like it, Jake was OK, but not meant to be!

Leyton… are meat to be… Just look at his dream of his feature anniversery. It would be easy with Lindsey because there are no feelings at stake (for him at least)… It would be fun with Brooke but only with Peyton would he have it all… They go so much deeper and have so much in common… Even Brooke knows this. She always have – since the Travis remark..

BRUCAS! I saw a video the other day on youtube that was about 82 reasons for Brucas to be the thing or something like that. (For the ones who don’t know, the number 82 is the number of letters that Brooke wrote the summer before senior year to Lucas.) I don’t think that you can find so many reasons for Lucas and Peyton to be together.
They are so romantic and they’ll be like this “power couple” like Brooke was talking about in the start of season 5.
It is a shame that Sophia and Chad ever dated, because it ended like this… and it’s a shame that they got divorced too. But Lucas is the guy for her. They are the thing. They are the ones who should be happy at the end. Peyton screwed things up with Jake, is that any reason for Brooke not to have Lucas?

BRUCAS BRUCAS BRUCAS! Leyton sucks donkey balls. I like Peyton a little bit(very,very little, I might add) when she’s not with Luke but she is freakin unbearable with him! What kind of a person betrays their best friend TWICE? Yeah, yeah, her life is so uber depressing and all that, but whatever ok…that is no excuse for any of the crap Brooke took from her. Brucas are meant to be together. The Destiny Shot! Lucas spent most of season 4 pining for Brooke anyway. He only got together with Peyton bc he knew he couldn’t have Brooke. (Lucas: Peyton, you can’t help who you love. Also Lucas: Brooke’s the one I see standing next to me when all my dreams come true.) .
The oly reason they’re not together on the show is bc of the whole Chad-Sophia-ducking-not-being-able-to-stand-each-other issue.
But they are meant to be. Peyton is a twisted,sad,morbid witch.
Sorry Leyton fans, Brucas it is. ALL THE WAY AND FOREVER!

Brucas should be together, since they have so much chemistry. Even now when they have only frienship scenes together you can still see it and feel it. Leyton doesn’t have that. Peyton should be with Jake. They had that same chemistry together.

I totally think leyton is the best choice I mean all Brooke and Lucas did was fight like no other and who actually wants to base a relationship off of fights? In my opinion it has nothing to do with the fact that the actual people were divorced it’s about the show and what the characters bring.plus Peyton’s been through hell and back ie:(stalker boy derek aka Ian. Death of both moms losing her best friend for a majority of the show.she’s been shot.and messed up a future with Lucas idk how many times)she deserves it.and to make matters worse she has a probability of breast cancer.cut her some slack. Brooke has a boy and Peyton wants to get married this time. Plus Brooke is too jealous!haven’t you seen season 3??

BRUCAS!!! I love Brucas, they weren’t so good in season one but it’s because Luke never gave Brooke a chance, he was crushing so much on Peyton that his heart was clouded, but then when both he and Peyton realized that the feelings they had for eachother were not love but just the idea of eachother, Lucas soon after realized that he let someone he truly cared for slip away and after months of longing for Brooke, he let her know exactly how he felt and season 3 was amazing, I just wish season 4 hadn’t torn the couple down, Brucas is meant to be, true love forever and for always!

BRUCAS, definitely. Leyton is as boring as butter. I have been an avid fan of One Tree Hill but I have stopped watching the latest season because it has become incredibly boring with Leyton. Leyton has no chemistry at all. If the producers want to make the show sizzle, they should bring Brucas back into the fold.

Brucas fan. Am only on season 3. But feelings change when you’re going through the teen phase just like Lucas had feelings for Peyton at first but dated Brooke anyways, cheated on her, and fell in love with her all over again. So far, they’re really cute together. Too bad they got an annulment in real life, and that too cuz Chad cheated on her. I don’t like Leyton for the fact that Peyton has curly hair, which don’t suit her, but her new straight hair look is kinda good now, but I still can’t imagine Leyton; that would be OTH minus the chemistry!! I hope Brucas get married on the show in the end!

Brucas are SOOOOO exciting. Have u eva noticed that with leyton its always depressing and bad things happen to the people around them when they’re together?? First brooke gets heartbroken then jake (who was FAB by the way) then Julian, then Lindsay (who was also realli sweet) they just screw up and are soooo soppy its sickening.
Brucas are fun, spontaneous and Brooke is WAAAY prettier than Peyton anyway. I don’t care about the sophia/chad breakup, they should bee proffessional and do wat’s best for the show BRING BACK BRUCAS!!!!!

Up until season 5 ! I wanted brucas all the wayy ! but did use people see season 5 ?? Did use not see how much lucas & peyton love each other ? they are ment to be, I used to hate peyton but then I watched one tree hill all over again from the start & it so was ment dey be leyton from the very start ! I lovee brucas too, but it will be imposable for them to ever be together again, peyton & brooke are too close now ! brook would never do that to peyton, I just dont see brucas happening ever again ! okay it is all about brooke and lucas.
the only reason lucas is with peyton now is cause lindsey didn’t want him. and the only reason he was with her before was because brooke didn’t want him.
peyton is a last resort. he doesn’t love her. he’s settling for her.
and they are so damn boring together. peyton is the most boring one on the show. there is no spark with them.

i’m totally a brucas fan since season 1… and i really hated leyton initially…seein brooke heart-broken and etc…. But now everyone has come a long way.. and from tonight’s episode as it is shown that Peyton is pregnant wid lucas’s baby…. I hope that Lucas wont turn out to be an ASS like Dan and leave peyton..and join brooke.. Although i would have loved to see brucas together but only if peyton wasnt pregnant..

and if mark decides to make history repeats itself thing..then he wud be doing a terrible mistake..

But in the end..i still admit that.. my fav moments of one tree hill are those where brucas are together…

Just to clear things up; when Lucas was having a “blank” about writting his second novel, when Peyton came back and told him that “his art matters, its what got her here” he was able to write again and he wrote a WHOLE FREAKIN’ BOOK ABOUT HER !! the comet ?? HER CAR ! she comes back and he’s happy again !?!?! what don’t you ppl see??
Brucas was never meant to be, all they did was hurt each other mutually.. and NO it just didn’t work..

i’m sorry to say this for brucas fans,but on the begining of 6 season One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn said that he knew that leyton are meant to be together from the very first episode of first season!So even though it might be some stuff still going on I don’t believe Brooke would do this to peyton, as I have heard in fact she’s going to have something with Julian..Even though i want her to be with Chase ( but he’s in tree hill now so there’s still hope =) ) I’m a huge fan of leyton but i also liked brucas when they were together..i just don’t think the are meant to be together in the show..Peyton and Lucas are like twin souls <3 and they will have baby soon =D

Haha i know; LEYTON is so obvious !! Everything leads to them being together !!
And Brooke would never do it to her because they’ve grown so much closer since high school, and they’ve matured up so much.. and Brooke wouldn’t do that and risk her friendship with Peyton again..
And anyways, like Ana said, she’ll be getting into something with Julian.. or maybe even fix things with Owen.. but now that he slept with Millie.. i doubt it but you never know.
And if they baby “isn’t’ like you say Arushi, then i think it’s just gonna make Leyton THAT much stronger and they’ll try and try till they really have one

if peyton really is preggers with lucas’s baby, there is no way in hell hes gonna leave her cause he hated dan all those years for leaving him & karen so if he does the same to his son/daughter he’d be the biggest hypocryte. i have to say peyton & lucas are petty boring together, and they are generally pretty boring characters themselves, especially since season 5 started. peyton is so depressing, shes always going on about what she doesnt have..blah blah blah
like i get it, shes had a hard life, but seriously.
but when you think about it, all the characters have become boring since the start of season 5. i mean look at brooke now, shes no longer bubbly and chirpy. & look at hayley & nathan. boring married couple. the only interesting person left is skillz (love that guy) hes so funny.

In response to everyone saying oh leyton is meant to be, leyton has been the obvious couple since season one…well everyone thought the same thing about dawson and joey until pacey came in the picture.

if you think about one tree hill, lucas is the Joey, Peyton is the Dawson and Brooke is the Pacey. luke and peyton, just like dawson and joey, are connected in a special way but it’s not a true love kind of connection, they always needed to have their chance to date, break up and date other people and then get back together. get each other out of their system. i think its pretty obvious by the way brooke reacts to some of the news she gets about leyton or just luke shows she still has feelings for him.

Leyton is a best friend, soulmate kind of thing.
brucas is a lover, forever kind of thing.

joey/pacey was end game and personally, i’m praying for brooke/lucas endgame

the baby is prob the key to whether or not there will ever be a chance for brooke and lucas. and how many seasons we have left. if season 6 is the last season, they’ll probably have the baby and that will be that, they’ll be together. if there is a season 7 (which i heard is now being discussed again after previouly being shot down by reports the actors didnt want to return), there could be a chance that schwahn has peyton miscarry or something and develops into a whole breakup brucas reunion or something.
at this point in season 6 though, if its determined that there will be no season 7, i dont think there is adequate time to explain hwo a brucas could happen. unless they did one of those flash forward things like dawsons creek and had brucas have one of those epic “you’re off the hook” discussions like joey and pacey.

Only reason I’m still watching the show is because of that little chance Brooke and Lucas get back together.
I know about that whole Chad/Sophia divorce, but c’mon… I thought they were professionals!! lol

Anyway… I really hope it’ll be Lucas and Brooke together when the show ends. They’re meant for each other (In the show).

I only watch the show in hope that Brucas will get back together but thats never going to happen and im not really pissed off anymore since Julian came into it im just upset that Peyton had him first!I really like Peytons sense of music and shes sometimes funny but her and Lucas sorry to say just aren’t GOOD together.And omg Julians smile is georgeous and lucas isn’t as nice looking as he used to be so im so over the whole he’s georgeous faze haha im actually really diggin Nathan he never gets any credit and I know im going off the entire conversation but Nathan never gets any credit and hes so frickin hot I kind of like him and Brooke but Haley is the one he is meant to be with. At least we had deadly times wtching Brooke and Lucas together even if it was for a short period of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is going over old ground a little but I cant help but be disappointed that there wont be a Brucas reunion. I know it wont happen now but I cant help but think that perhaps Mark had originally planned things differently. I find it slightly confusing that in the finale of series 3 Brooke tells Lucas she needs him to need her back, yet in the next episode she’s saying she feels she’s been in the relationship just for him??? I’m of the opinion that maybe if real life issues had turned out differently then so may have OTH. Please dont shoot me down its just my opinion! I’m a huge fan of Chad and especially Sophia.

I’ve always wanted Brooke for Lucas and not the boyfriend-stealer Peyton. Yeah, I know…Peyton is the passionate emo lover of Lucas but can’t everyone see that BROOKE DAVIS is the one for LUCAS SCOTT? And PEYTON SAWYER was just a desperate emo who has always wanted to steal LUCAS from BROOKE? In Season 1, Peyton cheated on Brooke but then, Brooke forgave her. And on Season 3, Peyton kissed Lucas in the library. If Peyton didn’t flirt with Lucas, Lucas would still be Brooke’s. And now, I’m waiting for Season 7…I’m still waiting for BRUCAS to come back.

OMG i live and die for One Tree Hill!!! All you ridiculous Brucas fans have to realize that from the Pilot episode “Leyton” was meant to be. There was no Brucas in season 5 nor in season 6. Sorry You should be rooting for a Brulian because they are so awesome together; Brooke is just afraid to open her heart. Lucas deserves to be adored by Peyton( and baby) and he will be. And Peyton deserves her True Love Always someone who will save her forever. Haley(aka the minister LoL) explained how Lucas felt the best when she repeated his words: “Peyton is an angel. And she’s my Angel.”

I can’t say that my faith in a Brucas reunion is strong right now, or even the faith of the Brucas camp in general, but I think what makes this group special is the HOPE for that reunion, however slight it may be, that we all keep alive in our own ways. We are all dedicated to not accepting Lucas’s true happiness as being with any other woman but Brooke. That is what keeps up my spirits, when it all comes down to it, deep down I know that NO ONE other than Brucas has the “look”. You know that feeling that you had watching the first time Brooke and Lucas truly saw each other for who they really were. It’s the same look that Brucas has shared ever since. Couple or not, those two share an unspoken truth…of desire and belonging, of understanding and completeness, of dreams and sacrifice, of memories and most of all of LOVE, every time their eyes meet. I know that Brooke and Lucas are not perfect, no one is…but they are perfect for each other. Mouth said it best, they share the same heart! So call me crazy, but then you’ll have to call Mickei, and I’m sure a hell of alot more Brucasers, crazy too! Because the “look” is what separates the good couples from the great couples! Some couples can get away with not having the “look” and still be special in our hearts, but most of the times if the chemistry is not there, its just not there, and its not just gonna appear out of thin air no matter how much fluff and cheese is thrown their way. IMO that “look” is why I can’t accept anyone else with Luke, it’s why despite my better efforts I cannot appreciate Leyton’s story, or journey. The way I see it…if Mark can’t take one look at Brucas six seasons into OTH and see that they are the truly epic love story…if he won’t believe that Brucas should find their way back in the end because THEY are meant to be…if he won’t admit that NO ONE, not even he, can decide who falls in love with who…HE is clearly blind…because as Lucas reminded us all once “the heart has reasons that reason cannot know,” and Gus also assured us that you don’t find love…that love finds you…and love, my friends, well it found Brucas a long time ago…

It found them that night they stood on Lucas’s doorsteps, while he and his pretty girl exchanged “I love yous” for the first time. It found them in the rain as he explained to her the difference between her and Peyton is that he loves HER, that he wants to be with HER not Peyton, his reason he told her “ because you kink your eyebrows when you’re trying to be cute. Because you quote Kmo even though I’ve actually never seen you read. Because you miss your parents, but you never admit that! And because I’ve given exactly two of these embarrassing speeches, and they’ve both been with you. And because we’re both gonna get pneumonia, but if you, need to hear why I love you, I can go on all night! Love followed them through the good and the bad times, sometimes it appeared as only a glimmer maybe as a brief memory of the way things were, or how they could have been… other times it claimed the spotlight, such as it did when love caught up with them years later in NYC while they road in that carriage, effortlessly explaining their future as a power couple… “He is going to be a famous novelist, and I’m going to have a fabulous fashion line.” She said to the carriage driver…”But we are still going to have time to have a big family, he added… “Two boys, and a girl” she affirmed, “And I’ll coach little league” he replied gazing into her eyes, ”Uu! And I’ll bake treats for the team, she shrieked… “or buy them,” she admitted, ”And we will spend our summers in our beach house.” He proposed. “And winters in the southern France” She added, “It won’t matter where we are, as long as we are together” He proclaimed…they both looked at each other smiling. It was clear in that moment how easily love found Brooke and Lucas and how quickly they could fall back into that feeling…but the fear of that realization hit even harder, and that night Brooke and Lucas vowed to pour themselves into their work and tried to move on with their lives. As fate would have it, years later Brooke came back to Tree Hill. She and Lucas fell right back into old habits of comfort and assurance, but when hardships and heartache threatened to break these two, it was their love for each other that found them on the brink of disaster, pulled them together, and would eventually save them as love once again found its way to Brucas… as they sat on her couch she realized how lucky they were to have each other and began to address him “we’ve been through a lot the two of us…but I know I wouldn’t have made it through a lot of those days with out you.” “Here,” she said, she handed him Angie’s purple monkey as he was about to leave, “I love you, Lucas Scott, you know that?” “I love you, too, Brooke Davis” He said before he walked out of her house.
Yes…Brucas will always love each other, and that “look” they share is all the evidence I need… She is vulnerable, yet beautiful, brilliant, and brave, in his eyes alone…and he is the guy, the only guy, she would have lost it all for… their love story reminds me of how true Brooke’s words were when she spoke at Naley’s wedding, when she said “Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds. When life gets hard, when things change, true love remains the same.” There are no truer words, IMO, to speak of the love that Brooke and Lucas share than those that Brooke borrowed that day from Shakespeare. And as she looked at Naley that day, and told them that “they made her feel safe…because they gave her hope, that feeling that everything’s going to be okay and that there’s going to be someone there to help make sure of that.” Well, Brucas gives me that hope, that feeling that no matter how hard you try to push it away, deny it, or hide from it…love finds a way in…you can’t control it, and even time won’t extinguish it…once its there and settled, its there forever, engraved in the hearts of those who share it.

I was an avid brucas fan for yrs but since julian’s entrance ive actually started to like leyton and i NEVER thought that would happen. with chad and hilarie leaving the show im afraid us brucas fans may have to face the fact a reunion is not on the cards. lets not forget that if brooke was to break peyton’s heart my getting back with her husband, wouldnt this dent the character of brooke we all love so much? To Christina Davis: First of all they are much more happy without each other at least Lucas is without Peyton.
Second of all he didn’t choose Peyton he had no other choice, Brooke left Lucas not Lucas Brooke, and same way with Lindsey she left him! But after Brooke dumped him he did everything to get her back he still loved and wanted her.. He also asked Peyton for help getting Brooke back so you really should get your facts straight before you start talking! Lucas just settled for Peyton cause nobody else wanted him anymore.

Btw “people that are meant to be together always find their way in the end” is what Brooke said and she was definitly NOT talking about Peyton and Lucas, it was about her and Lucas and they would be together today if it wasn’t for Sophia and Chad in real life who got divorced.. Mark said it himself, he didn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with each other on set.
