    I agree he’s the main character. The show used to start with him bouncing the ball with that opening song. He narrates almost all of the episodes, and the story revolved around him. They can’t change that. We don’t want our Lucas Scott to leave the show!!

    They will be making a VERY VERY poor decision by removing Chad’s character from One Tree Hill. I have watched One Tree Hill from day one, religiously. I honestly thought the show would end once they all graduated High School and I was SO excited to see that another season was coming and I LOVE watching all of the characters branch off in their own ways, watching them grow up and what not. Lucas is honestly what makes the show. Of all characters, WHY would they pick him to eliminate? It’s ridiculous. This better be some joke, because if he makes no appearance what so ever in this up coming season, I’ll be done! Because without Lucas, there will be no Peyton. Or having a Peyton without Lucas will just be dumb. Ugh. /= This sucks. I hope they change their minds.

    If you take Lucas off of this show, you obviously don’t care about the fans as much as you say you do. Lucas is one of the main reasons that make this show and why would you want to screw that up after six seasons? That’s completely ridiculous and hurtful to us fans and to Chad!

    KEEP LUCAS SCOTT ON THIS SHOW! or you will most definately lose a lot or all of one tree hill’s fans!

    wtf ! They can’t just take Lucas off the show to save money, like everyone said he’s the main character of the show, he is connected to every other character of OTH, if he isn’t there the show willl SOOOO not be the same ! They are taking off the most important one , they can take one that we dont care about. Ok, they might save money but they wont make any profits because nobody will watch the show, the number of fans will get so lower it’s not even funny. Anyways, if you take Chad off you are making THE worst mistake of your LIVES !!

    hey why aren’t you bringing back chad michael murray?? you are going to lose so much ratings and fans, that making a season 7 would be a waste of time. chad is the reason why fans watch the show from the pilot episode, he makes this show the reason it is. everything has revolved around him, so if you take him out, you don’t have a show.

    As much as im disappointed that Chad and Hilarie aren’t coming back, and if its the producers fault i totally hate them, i will still watch the show. Brooke’s life is very interesting so we will get more time to see her as well as Nathen and Haley who deserve more on air time. Plus i guess their making room for Mia and Chase to be more involved as well as Sam and Jack. Plus if Julian comes back for good there will be so much more drama.

    Without Lucas, Peyton, Brook, Nathan and Halley, I will stop watch the show. When you have a show that is good why mess it up. Do not have Peyton lose the baby or her live. Have Brook find happiness finally. If this happens, I will remain a faithfully fan. Change it and my husband and I will stop watching.

    How do you think OTH will survive without Lucas? What about Jamie having his uncle raise him up like Keith did for Lucas all his life? The story line of OTH will end without lucas in it because it seems like everything comes back to him, his friends rely on him and Peyton needs him too. You need to keep them on the show.     I must admit, I did not know that Chad was not coming back. You all covered this topic very well and I would just like to ditto all your comments. If this happens, it will probably be the last season for One Tree Hill. What a shame! I was very concerned about the last episode. No cliff hangers at all. Everyone got their dream and there was closure on all the aspects of all the characters lives. Don’t get me wrong, I liked having things go right for everyone but it made me think that the show might not be back at all. Comments? Please tell me I am wrong.

    i think this will be a huge regret!! how can they take lucas off the show.. he was the main reason i watched it. i always looked forward to watching it every monday night and seeing what was going on between him and peyton. i mean it ended with peyton having the baby and them riding off in the comet… i was looking forward to watching it monday and seeing how they are now.. but then i was disappointed when they weren’t on there. This will end up being a huge regret, i guarentee! please change your minds and bring lucas and peyton back

    Without Lucas and Peyton they dont have One Tree hill! Chad and Hilarie are vital players in the shows existance. Dont get me wrong I love the whole cast, but the ups and down of Lucas and Peyton have been the part that keep sme tuning in again and again.     i know no matter how hard they try, they just can’t replace lucas and peyton, they have to realize that they cant just build a new story up in an old show, unless they want to make a spin off..
    so we’ll see how smart they are, ’til then, OTH was finished in season 6 for me..

    I think that chad is lying just to make the show look bad because they wouldnt give him all the money he wants. He was always my favorite character though and I am sad he is gone. I hope they at least bring peyton back or ideally both of them.
