I just found out the reason Chad won’t be in the 7th season. It’s not because he doesn’t want to… it is because they want to save money so they are not asking him!! I found a video of it so you guys can watch and see that they haven’t even called him to say ‘Hey we don’t want you or hey we want you!’ That makes me really sad! They might save some money but they are going to lose so many fans. =[
How can they do this to us! What are your guys thoughts on this!?

i think this will be a huge regret!! how can they take lucas off the show.. he was the main reason i watched it. i always looked forward to watching it every monday night and seeing what was going on between him and peyton. i mean it ended with peyton having the baby and them riding off in the comet… i was looking forward to watching it monday and seeing how they are now.. but then i was disappointed when they weren’t on there. This will end up being a huge regret, i guarentee! please change your minds and bring lucas and peyton back
one tree hill will never be the same without lucas or peyton. the only reason i watched one tree hill was because of them so0oo now they are not there anymore im not watchin it… itz corny nw you think by nt putting lucas and peyton in one tree hill will lose money it will lose even more money cause nobody will watch it anymore
i’m glad the little f**ker’s gone…..i hated him and his stupid character by the end. to wishy-washy… and people like it more now….we already have one married couple we dont need two…i get it they love each other! the only person i feel bad for is hillary she didnt want to go its because her character is so intertwined with chad’s that she had to go too…why couldnt they just make him have a HCM heartattack?
Well it looks like they wanted to lose fans of the show!!!!!!!! That was a stupid, stupid move on their part. I know that my group of friends that span all the way to New York will no longer watch the show.

Come one put him back on the show. I don’t know if i will even like the new season cuz he is not on it! Without Lucas and Peyton they dont have One Tree hill! Chad and Hilarie are vital players in the shows existance. Dont get me wrong I love the whole cast, but the ups and down of Lucas and Peyton have been the part that keep sme tuning in again and again. Ive been a fan since season one and I think that with them being gone ratings will drop. BRING CHAD AND HILARIE BACK! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!

I’ve been watching the new season and yes it sucks without chad and hilary but i’d rather have the characters leave than killed off cause if they were killed off they could never come back but since the left and the series is coming back for the 8th season they might and hopefully bring Lucas and Peyton and Sawyer (their baby) back

i know no matter how hard they try, they just can’t replace lucas and peyton, they have to realize that they cant just build a new story up in an old show, unless they want to make a spin off..
so we’ll see how smart they are, ’til then, OTH was finished in season 6 for me..

That is like taking Edward and Bella out of Twilight. Lucas is what makes OTH so enjoyable and addictive. You always want to know what he will do next and P. Sawyer.

I think that chad is lying just to make the show look bad because they wouldnt give him all the money he wants. He was always my favorite character though and I am sad he is gone. I hope they at least bring peyton back or ideally both of them.
Ok this is bull crap, i have watched every single episode and i cant believe you arent gonna ask chad to come back or at least beg him to if he dosnt want to. he is the main character in the show, and without him on it, your ratings will most deff go down, Im pretty sure that is all we have been asking since him and peyton left if they were coming back, and its deff. all i ever do. it wont be the same unless hes on it. Chad choose to leave he didnt sign the contract because he didn’t think it was enough money ,,,, so its not really mark’s fault its chads.
I heard Sophia and Chad didn’t want to work together after their divorce.
Sophia didn’t want to work with Chad after their divorces ok… but she did it anyway. The reason Chad left, I heard, was because they didn’t pay him enough. Now he doesn’t do a lot of things right..? Big head! he didnt stay only because he wasnt payed what he wanted. He never thought about you, fans, or just thought well, only two season more and they pay good money so I’m going to stay. He just left lol He didnt care about anything but is wallet…
Here is what I think; One tree hill is still a really good show. Yes, Chad and Hilary were two of the main characters and the show was good with them on it but the show doesn’t completely suck without them. Mark has brought in lot’s of new characters and new story lines. They have made it threw one season without Lucas and Peyton and I’m sure they can make it threw more. Even though we didn’t have Lucas and Peyton in Season 7 it was still One tree hill and always will be. I know that most people will be watching season 8 with or without Chad and Hilary because of the last few episodes to season 7. So please stop be so rude and saying you will stop watching it and stuff. It’s really quite rude.

since they’ve taken lucas and peyton off the show i stopped watching. NOW i watch re-runs if they want me back as a fan then BRING BACK LEYTON! i mean they make the show. Sooo i guess i’m gonna just keep watching the previous season ALL over again!

i miss peyton and lucas!!!!:( they were what made the show great. leyton was most the drama and now there isnt any love triangle wit luke and p. sawyer and b. davis. that was half the lure of the show. dont get me wrong i still love naley and think nate is fricken hot but the show isnt as good. i think mark and luke need to get off their high horses and make a compromise. luke you dont need as much money as your asking for.. non celebs live just fine on being poor and mark beg that boy to come back bc you may be paying him alot but youll lose more money if you dont beg him bc no one will watch anymore. take my advice it excilent!!!!!!!

I think it is really stupid not to bring peyton and lucas back! Lucas is the base of the show and if they dont bring him back they are going to lose a lot of viewers and money so they might as well pay him the money to be on the show because they will definitely make enough money to pay him if he and peyton stay on the show! Please bring Leyton back!
WOW this season sucks. I mean really. Lucas and peyton we’re the life of the whole freaking show and ur gonna take them off. Have common sense on how this will affect your show. To be honest they we’re like the best characters they made the show get the message across. Without them ur done. Atleast have to audacity to say where they went!

I’ve watched the seventh season and its good, i wasn’t always a big fan of Peyton so her leaving doesn’t bother me,, I really liked Lucas’s Characters in the first few seasons but his character went downhill because he never got any new stories,,, towards the end it was all about who he would end up with, and i guess once he ended up with Peyton there wasn’t a lot they could do with his character.. I think there is more to it than just budget cuts, unless they were asking for too much money.. coz they could have kept some of the crappy characters they put in the seventh season,, like alex, and that english record label agent, and that male singer that comes into it,, they are all shit characters and they should shoot them all,,, and keep chase with mia,.. they suit each other…
Lucas definitely needs to be put back on the show. He is the show.

okay i feel like he isn’t telling us everything. obviously the producers know that taking him, hilarie(peyton) and sawyer of the show means that they will lose a lot of respect for the show from the fans. I feel like Chad wasn’t getting paid enough and he wanted more money but the show couldn’t afford to so he just decided to leave. or something weird like that.
I think its wrong to compare Parkers situation to the heroes of the past as the club had complete control in those days and the difference in the level of football between the divisions wasnt so great. Fact is my all time hero Bobby Moore would have gone to Tottenham at his peak had he been allowed to do so and Brooking was sought after by Clough when Derby were at their peak.. chances are they would have gone in todays enviroment and who could have blamed them! Dicanio wanted to go to Man u when they showed an. interest as well. We lost Scott Parker because of the state our club got in to and if it wasnt for his outstanding efforts we would have gone down a season earlier. I think hes up there with the greats but agree legend status goes to those who played for a lot longer. He would have been told to hand in a transfer request by both clubs to ensure we get the maximum from the transfer. If hes ever back at upton park he will get a big cheer from me. Thanks Scott it was a privelage to watch you but as many have said above its time to move on and lets hope we get an exciting arrival to alleviate the dispapointment
